PRE-SESSION ONLINE CONSULTATION
We start with a private Zoom consultation.
This conversation allows us to take a little moment to design a session that reflects you and your furry companion in a way that feels really YOU. We discuss your personal style, your dog's personality, wardrobe guidance, photoshoot location and cover all the questions that you would have.
THE PHOTOSHOOT EXPERIENCE
Because this moment is yours, every details is designed to make you and your dog feel comfortable and engaged.
The Portrait Madame Chic & Pup experience can be organised either at our NYC portrait studio (Dumbo), or at your home (Manhattan & Brooklyn. The On location fee is already included in the package) or at your one favorite outdoor location in NYC.
You will then be completely guided through the portrait session. You or your pet won't need to perform in any way or "be photogenic": Alice (the photographer) will warmly guide everything.
It is all about capturing real moments & interactions.
Dogs do not need to be perfectly trained. We work with their personality !
THE PHOTOS REVEAL AND PRIVATE ONLINE GALLERY
Following your Chic & Pup photoshoot, we will curate a preselection of 25 to 35 images. Each of those images will go under the expert hands of our Editorial Retoucher (Melissa): Elegance is our signature. We preserve what feels real while elevating other details.
Once the pre-selection of 25-35 photos have been finely edited, they will be revealed to you on a private online gallery.
The Portrait Madame Chic & Pup experience already includes 10 favorite images for you to pick among the pre-selection. The choice is all yours.
There is an option to purchase any additional images if you want more. (15 images collection & 20 images collection available). You only purchase what you love !
The portraits you select will be delivered to you in hand-crafted Art Prints presented in an elegant Folio Box (as well as their jpg digital files duplicates) coming all the way from our artisan photo lab in Tuscany, Italy.

Portrait Madame is based in NYC, serving clients across Manhattan & Brooklyn. We are happy to travel further distances: a traveling fee will be applied. Everything will be presented to you before you make any decision.
Does my dog need training?
No at all. We guide the session to capture natural expression and authentic personality. Don't stress about him not knowing a collection of tricks.
Can I be in the photos too?
Absolutely, this is actually the whole point. The magic of these portrait sessions is to capture the interactions between you 2. This is what makes your bond so personal and meaningful.
How far in advance should I book?
The high season for this portrait experience is going from May until end of October. During this period of time, NYC schedules fill quickly. Booking 4–6 weeks in advance is recommended.
